One of two towers that watch the island's edges. Every boat, every drifting raft and every horizon is logged here before it gets close.

Southside Bay
The settlement's heart — the pier where supply boats land, the crescent of sand, and the arc of huts around the water where Utopia's residents actually live.

The Armoury
Tucked into the forest between the two territories. What's stored here is meant to keep Southside and Northside from ever settling things directly.

A veranda overlooking Southside Bay — where the residents gather, argue, and keep up the rituals of a life the rest of the world thinks ended years ago.

The Deserter Huts
Where the deserters live. Rougher than Southside, colder toward outsiders, and entirely outside the Organisation's day-to-day control.

The Hidden Natural Caves
Sea caves worked into the base of the south-western cliffs. Useful to anyone who needs to move about the island without using its paths.

The Hughes Falls
A waterfall cutting down through the western range to the Security Control Tower below. Hughes named it himself — one of the small vanities Utopia allows him.
Central valley · below the northside plantations
The Lake
The island's main body of fresh water, sitting in the valley below the northside plantations. The perimeter fence between the two territories runs right along its southern shore.
10 miles out · transfer point
The Offshore Platform
Ten miles off the coast. Shipping containers are dropped here and collected by Utopia's own boats, so no outside vessel ever has a reason to make landfall.
Southside Bay · supply boat landing point
The Pier
The only sanctioned way on or off the island. Every crate, every new arrival and every departure passes across these boards under the Organisation's watch.
Northside · escape point
The Raft Hut
The one route off the island the Organisation doesn't fully control — a shed at the far end of the northside beach, and whatever can be lashed together inside it.
Southside · access restricted
The Secret Tunnel Network
A cut-stone passage linking the Hughes Villa to the island's command bunker. Built so that the people who really run Utopia never have to be seen moving between them.
Island centre · no man's land
The Tropical Forest Buffer Zone
A wide belt of untouched forest between Southside and Northside, cut only by the perimeter fence. Crossing it unannounced is the fastest way to start trouble.
Northside high ground · long dormant
The Volcanic Crater
A long-dormant crater in the island's northern peaks. Its rim is the highest ground on Utopia, with a clear line of sight over both territories.
