01 The story behind The Utopia Conspiracy
“I was driving home from work and had just heard on the radio that Michael Jackson had died. I was, like the rest of the world, shocked. Then the thought came to me: what if he hadn’t actually died — what if he’d just fooled the world and faked it? He had the money, and it was clear he had started to hate being in the limelight.”
“Suddenly The Utopia Conspiracy came to me. I wrote a plan for how the book would flow and started to put pen to paper. Life got in the way, but the story was always there. Two years ago I promised myself I’d finish it — and I teamed up with a fantastic author and mentor, Robert William Jones, who became as excited about it as I was.”
Lee lives in Dorset with his wife Kelly and their family, where he continues developing stories that push the boundaries of storytelling — inviting readers to challenge conventional thinking about the line between past and present.
