D.B. Cooper hijacked A man using the name Dan Cooper hijacked a Boeing 727 flight in the United States on 24 November 1971. He demanded money and parachutes, received the ransom, and jumped from the aircraft. He was never conclusively identified or located. D.B. Cooper received $200,000 ransom in the historical event.
